Back in April, I shared some of the exercises I'd been incorporating to build glute strength. Why might you want to work on your glute strength? Well, strong glutes may improve posture and prevent injury. Strong glutes may also improve overall athleticism, and strength and power. Plus, with strong glutes, you can channel your inner J.Lo, and who doesn't wanna do that?!
Ha, but in all seriousness, we got lots of positive feedback asking for a specific program to help people who were new to strength building, so we set to work. Our Namaslay® 30 Day Supplemental Glute Strength Program is designed by our Strength and Conditioning coach Dan Tavino. He's the one who will be at our Namaslay® Yoga Teacher Training Programs to help develop overall strength and to teach our anatomy lessons. You are welcome to reach out to him on instagram if you have any questions or leave comments here on this post and he'll respond.
The program is a supplemental program, meaning that it's meant to go alongside whatever it is you're already doing for your fitness and yoga. If you are new to strength building, no worries, there are links to each exercise to show you exactly how to do it. In addition, there are rest days built in, and yoga, breathing and guided meditation practices throughout. The program is $49.99 and you can purchase it here!
I also wanted to give you a taste of what you can expect from the program, so here is a quick and effective supplemental glute workout taken straight from the program:
