A few weeks ago I shared some tips for crow pose, and then made a video for jumping back from crow pose into chaturanga. If you're ready to take it to the next level, try side crow. Side crow is an arm balance that requires a bit of core strength and hip flexibility. The variation I've shown here has legs extended, but regular side crow keeps the knees bent. The key for side crow is learning to engage the muscles and fire up the core so you're really experiencing a lift, rather than just resting on the arms. Feel free to ask any questions below or share your tips for getting into side crow!
