The Best Travel Yoga Mat: Jade Voyager
Jade is a yoga mat company that I love for many reasons. One, their harmony mat is one of my favorites for everyday yoga, and two, for every mat they sell, they plant a tree. What's better than that?!
Jade sent over a bunch of mats for us to use for our photoshoot in Las Vegas. While the voyager didn't, ahem, make the trip (we used their harmony mat instead), I wanted to review it because I am always on the hunt for a great travel mat.

Last night I took another flight (to Germany, woop!), so I thought a little travel mat guide would be appropriate. Last year, I reviewed the Manduka travel mat, but to be honest, it has absolutely zero thickness and a pretty poor grip compared to what's on the market.

I've heard rave reviews about the Yoga Journal Conference for years, so when the opportunity arose for me to go, I jumped at the chance, and recruited a friend to join in the fun. The conference was held at a hotel in Miami Beach, but my friend asked if I wouldn't mind if we rented a condo instead.

The Palms Hotel and Spa Review
On a scale of 1 - 10, with 10 being the thing I love the most, I enjoy long haul travel a -5. I mean, really. The only thing I want to do after 22 hours of travel is sleep. I arrived at Miami airport last week and to my surprise, all my bags made it through, too. It was a small miracle. I zipped over to The Palms Hotel and Spa, and got directly into bed.
