Earlier this week, Gaia sent me a little immune boosting care package, which included their Black Elderberry Extra Strength Immune Support Gummies and they inspired me to think about the things I do to boost my immune system. I thought I’d share them with you, in case you’re trying to stay as healthy as you can. (PS, They sent a 20% off code you can use if you’d like to purchase your own - use BYCANDACE20 upon checkout).
1) Elderberry has been a longtime go-to of mine during cold season, so that’s something I used to take daily as a tincture, but now I’ll switch to the gummies since I have them.
2) Eating fruits and veggies - We always have oranges, apples and berries at home, and both Dan and I typically have at least one serving of spinach (we put a big handful in our egg scrambles). I sometimes get two servings, with the second being my protein shake.
3) CBD oil - I’ve been a longtime fan of Bodychek Wellness and I trust their organic CBD oil implicitly. I’ve been using it for years for muscle recovery, stress reduction and improved sleep. You can use code YBC25 for 25% off, and they also have a pet formula I’ve been using for Buckles, too.
4) Quality Sleep - It’s so important to me to get good quality sleep because I like to feel at the top of my game during the day. Excellent sleep can be a great way to support your overall health.
5) Staying Hydrated - Ok this is something I’m continually having to work on, but staying really hydrated is a good way to keep your body healthy. When you’re hydrated, your body is better able to naturally eliminate bacteria and toxins that may cause infections.
I’d love to hear how you stay healthy - let me know in the comments section below.
