Remember the Push Up Party (and afterwards we hosted this party and this party)? #worstpartiesever Then we did a bunch of Burpee Parties (those were pretty miserable too!). Well today I'm back with another terrible party you can tackle - The Plank Party.

Ok let's back up a second. Why are these parties so bad? Because they're painful to get through. Push ups are tough. Burpees are tough. And these plank holds aren't much easier. But! The parties are quick and are effective for building strength to complement your yoga practice.

For this Plank Party, the goal is to build strength first and foremost through the core, with the shoulders and arms being a secondary benefit. We'll be doing 30 second holds starting with the forearms on the ground, then moving over to the right and then moving over to the left. We'll do it three times through and then, thankfully, we'll be done! Give it a try and let me know how it goes for you down in the comments section below!
